MD5 Generator
MD5 reduces any input to a fixed hex string, and the same text always gives the same result. That makes it useful for spotting whether two things differ, for cache keys, and for comparing against a value some other system stored.
MD5 is broken for security. Two different inputs can be made to collide, so it must not be used for passwords, signatures, or anything an attacker would gain by forging.
